Ewelina Oksien, born in Balystok, Poland, is currently a student at the Christ School of Nursing in Hoboken, NJ. While she is currently pursuing her associate’s degree in Nursing, her goal is to obtain a master’s degree in Nursing Administration and Education and open her own legal nurse consulting business in New York City. Ewelina is a member of the National Honor Society. She actively speaks to her fellow students about her experiences immigrating to the United States from Poland and the importance of education and maximizing opportunities. In high school, Ewelina was an active member of the Model United Nations and spoke in general assemblies to representatives of foreign countries about global matters.
In addition to being a student, Ewelina currently works as a Unit Health Coordinator at Bayonne Medical Center in the Intensive Care, Coronary Care and Medical Surgical Units. She also participates in educational fairs, teaching nurses how they can improve care and overall patient satisfaction.
Her hobbies include exercising, tennis, and canvas painting. Ewelina completed a Fine Arts program at the prestigious Parsons New School of Design in Manhattan.
