The Pulaski Day Parade Committee of Staten Island celebrated the annual wreath placing at the Polish American Revolutionary Heroes monument at Silver Lake on October 19th 2019. This ceremony commemorates October as Polish Heritage month.  Committee members were joined by the 2019 Miss Polonia Katazyna Kobeszko, Junior Miss Polonia Gabriela Krzak and members of the Gromada Zuchowa "Krokusy" (Polish Scouts) lead by the 2018 Marshal Jolnta Opach. Past Marshal, Jolanta gave those in attendance a brief history our Polish revolutionary heroes, Gen Pulaski and Tadeusz Kosciuszko.  A moment of silence was offered topay tribute to our ancestral heroes.
